Fritz Wunderlich: A Tragedy
Wunderlich was destined for a great career. He was scheduled to sing at the Met but before his 36 birthday, he had an accident where he slipped, fell down a few fights of stone steps and banged his head. He went into a coma and died a few days later. After listening to this, we can all realize what a loss this was.

Mario Lanza: A DIfferent Tradgedy
Born Alfredo Coccoza, with a voice that happens once in a century, he changed his name to a masculine version of his mother's when he became a professional singer. He wanted to be an opera singer but was diverted to Hollywood and its lure of money. This lead to a destructive lifestyle and death at the age of 38.
One of the great duets of all time. Corelli and Simoniato Gli Ugonotti. No one sings like this today.
