Danny Gatton: A must listen

This is a video of the great guitarist Danny Gatton on an Austin City Limits show. Danny was without doubt the greatest technical player I have ever heard. Other guitarists called him the humbler. That needs no explanation. Danny's wife Janet worked at the NSF for many years which is how I kind of came to hear about him. Unfortunately, for no apparent reason Danny committed suicide in October of 1994. I never got to see him play live.
